Cricut 101 Workshop!

September 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Bring home a vinyl sticker or add HTV to a shirt when you learn the basics of a Cricut machine.

Donations will go towards materials and supplies for MakerSpace Charlotte events and members.

Welcome to the Cricut Basics workshop! In this beginner’s workshop, you’ll learn the basics of Cricut’s Design Space Software, Tools & Materials, and Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV). We will create a simple design to cut, prepare materials, and cut your own vinyl or HTV image** and heat press it onto an article of your choice.

**If you would like to use HTV, please bring a clean t-shirt or other fabric item (Dish towel, apron, mask, etc) so that we can heat press your design onto the item.

Taught by Teresa Sword of Sword Studios

Minors are welcome to attend, though they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. No additional ticket needed. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
